TIME MANAGEMENT

Why and What is it so great about time. From times immemorial time has been discussed time and again.
Conventionally Management means Manage-men-(with)-Techniques. (I mean men is a common term applied for persons i.e., it includes men and women.
But now, in the present day world, we must agree that Management means Manager-Men-(with)-TIME.
I don’t readily remember the author name, but one of the Authors of a financial book has written the following 3 lines on Time Management which are very apt. If this one principle alone is applied in our lives, we would never have to look back in our lives - and everything will be an achievement - as long as 3 lines are applied to strictly: The three lines are:
YESTERDAY is a cancelled cheque (no use of a spilled over milk)
TOMORROW is a pronote (not sure whether the promissory note will be honoured or not).
BUT, TODAY is Cash on Hand. We must make use of today to the fullest extent.

I am sure that many of our members/readers have been applying their own time management principles in their day-to-day lives either in their offices or in their homes. It would be better if those proven techniques are shared in this forum.
Note: Many persons whom I met/know have been following the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People in letter and deed. But since the book is a voluminous one, practical examples from the real lives will greatly benefit not only our members bu the public at large.
Please do share your time management experiences as a comment/reply to this link.
